Each year, with your support, the Birmingham Education Foundation grants tens of thousands of dollars back to our school to fund programs and initiatives that would otherwise be unattainable.
Wondering what kind of impact your donation can have? Here are some examples:
$25 could send 4 fourth grade students to see the Detroit Symphony Orchestra
$75 could pay for one set of books for a book club
$250 is enough to fund one Small but Mighty grant
$500 could help the BEF support events like Career Day
$1,000 could be enough to fund a new set of supplemental books for a first grade team
$5,000 could support the joint high school FIRST Robotics Team
Any amount you choose to give helps the BEF to support our schools, and allows our students (and teachers!) to dream big. Thanks for your support!
The Birmingham Education Foundation (BEF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit. It is our goal to support every student in BPS, to encourage innovation in the district, and and to help our staff as they strive to give every student the highest quality educational experience possible.
