The Birmingham Education Foundation presents an evening with award-winning illustrator, Christian Robinson on Monday, May 21 at 6:00 pm. This event is sponsored by DFCU Financial.
Mr. Robinson will be speaking about his journey to becoming an illustrator, as well as his thoughts on picture books for children. After speaking, he will be available to sign books. Book Beat will be on hand to sell books that evening and $1 from every book sold will benefit the Birmingham Education Foundation.
This event is presented as part of the Birmingham Education Foundation's Authors & Artists program, which brings award-winning authors and illustrators to speak to Birmingham Public School students. Mr. Robinson will be visiting all BPS elementary schools from May 21 - May 24. While all ages are welcome at this evening event, younger students may not find it as exciting as the presentation he will be giving at each school.
Admission to the event is by donation. Registration is not required, but will help us to make sure that we have seating for all.
